This is what happens when Theron leaves town...
Jessica was playing in a basketball game and rolled her ankle, spraining a ligament. It was awful to watch her in so much pain on the court and not being able to do anything. She can't walk on it for a couple days and won't be playing any games till next week...hopefully. We are lucky enough to have a physical therapist at every high school basketball game, so as soon as the injury occured he new everything to do to stop the swelling and to minimize the pain. I was very impressed. Then he told me to take her to his clinic the next day, which I did. I was amazed at the treatment and attention Jessica got as soon as we walked in the door. They had her do exercises to stretch the ligaments and hooked her foot up to electrodes to stimulate it. They are so nice there and we were out in an hour. All free of charge, gotta love that!
Hopefully, it will heal soon because my life revolves around her basketball and I would hate to make other plans on a Friday night...
Theron was so sad for her. The crazy thing is that he has always been on a business trip when one of my kids (Rachel and Jessica) have broken an arm. Between the 2 of them they have broken their arm 6 times....one time with Rachel the doctor said it was the worst break he had ever seen. She actually had to hold her arm together on the way to the doctor because of the break, it was quite the sight! thanks to awesome parents that help out and my neighbor Laura who is always helping me, I made it through yet another injury while Theron was gone.
Moral of story: Theron don't leave us anymore!

Oh Jess! I am so sorry! that is such a bummer. I hope she feels better soon. Maybe some ben and jerrys and a chick flick will help her feel better and give you something to do on a friday night. haha
Are you kidding me?? I am sorry this happens when he is gone so much!! If you need anything let me know!
I haven't been gone for 4 months...nothing happens at home. I leave for a week and crazy things happen at home, I don't get it. At least i didn't miss her play any games while I was gone.
Poor Jessica! Those things are always harder to deal with when husbands are out of town. I hope she's back playing real soon!
Jessica, Clearfield needs you, so get better quickly. Go Falcons!!!
(This is where I sing the CHS song.)
The good players always have an injury or two to deal with during the season...just look at the Jazz(wait I changed my mind, that just depressing)!
